Stone Lake Wetland Park

17.4 Acres of wetland and upland Ridge Walking Trails, 600 ft Boardwalk, a Gazebo Overlooking Stone Lake And the Canadian National Railroad, and a Covered walk bridge. Gain access in downtown Stone Lake behind The Last Frontier Antiques on Highway 70, or the Main Entrance located at Highway 70 and 3rd St. North. 715-865-3378

Rustic Road #71

Located one mile west of town on Lake Road and Little Stone Lake Road between Highway 70 a County Road A. take this beautiful ride that skirts the Western shore of Stone Lake where deer, raccoons loons and other waterfowl are often present. The trees along the route form a graceful arch overhead creating a tunnel of green over much of this two mile rustic road.


Dugan Horse Trail
Just 5 miles West of Stone Lake, the trail-head and campground is located 2 miles North of Highway 70 on Dugan Lake Road. There are presently 12 miles of designated horse trails winding through a variety of forests types with several small lakes and 2 creeks and the campground has 10 Truck/Trailer parking units and a large group camping area, Fire Rings, Toilet and Manure pit. Presently there is no fee to use the facility.

Stone Lake Historical Society Museum - Stone Lake Depot
Located one half mile east of Stone lake on Highway #70.   Open Memorial Day Weekend through Cranfest which is always the first week in October. Fri-Sun 12am-4pm

Located North of Stone Lake at the intersection of Hwy 70 & County Rd. A, This park Offers a Pavilion, Baseball Diamond, Volleyball Area, Kids playground area.


Spring Lake Park
One mile South of Stone Lake On Highway 70, Left on Golden Pond Road. Picnic Area, Playground and Boat Landing.


Sawmill Lake County Park
9 miles South of Stone Lake on the Birchwood Fire Lane off of Cty Hwy B. Primitive camping sites with Tables & Fire Rings, No Electric.  Dock, Open Shelter, Vault Toilets, Hand Pump for water. Fee for camping.

Green Lake-Sis Hiking TrailLocated 8 miles south of Stone Lake, south on BB-becomes Ranch Rd, then Little Sis Rd, then Green Lake Rd.  Trailheads with parking lots are located on Little Sissabagama Rd and Green Lake Rd.  Parking lots are plowed in the winter for cross country skiing and snowshoeing.  The trail is 3.5 miles long and winds through the woods and passes four wilderness lakes.  It is for hiking, biking, and cross-country skiing.  No motorized vehicles.

Nordic Ski Trail
About 4 miles West of Stone Lake, this is perhaps the nicest trail system in the immediate area. It is entirely wooded and the 10.7 Kilometer of trails wind around numerous wilderness lakes. It is well suited to Intermediate skiers but thoroughly enjoyable for the more advanced. Two Adirondack Shelters on the trail provide good resting areas.
